Time flies with Zaccho

The school year has finished and much of the Zaccho youth programming is taking a well-deserved summer holiday. We look forward to seeing all of our youth back in the studio for Summer Camp and classes in the fall. Meanwhile, there is much to do for the older among us!

Dance & Place - site specific workshop on Mount Tamalpais

Join award-winning site-specific choreographer Joanna Haigood for a rare workshop opportunity on Mount Tamalpais.

Participants will engage with the ruins of the Mount Tamalpais "Radar Site" - once operated by the US Air Force - and will create a series of short studies, receive feedback and exchange ideas with other dance artists. The workshop will include a lecture at Zaccho Studio on the history and context of site specific dance followed by two days of creation at the Radar Site.
